Eva Hermanova

The University of Economics in Prague (Faculty of International Relations), Metropolitan University Prague


Eva Hermanova is currently working at two academic institutions – Metropolitan University of Prague (Faculty of International Business) and the University of Economics in Prague (Faculty of International Relations).


In the years 2009 – 2012, she worked at the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Economics in Prague (Management and Arts Department) as an assistant professor mostly focused on arts management and marketing. She also gained experience in the field of sociology, managerial psychology, marketing communication and international marketing. Currently, she guarantees the sustainability and development of non-profit academic project Artslexikon (an online glossary of arts management and marketing) and cooperates with the Department of Marketing occasionally. At the University of Economics, she is currently engaged in the issues of regional development and its connection with tourism and culture.

She gained the Mgr. and RNDr. degrees after graduating from the Faculty of Science at Charles University, and an additional Ph.D. degree in 2010 from the same institution. During her professional career, she supervised over 350 theses devoted to a wide range of economic, regional and managerial issues.

As a lecturer, she prefers an individual approach to students, intensive communication, and feedback. She supports students’ creativity, self-reliance and a will to work on themselves to the maximum. She aims to teach the students a basic understanding of issues and their application in concrete, real-life situations.
