Professor of Management and Marketing
Joe is an owner of LeVesque Productions and has provided armadillo puppet shows and other entertainment for 40 years to fairs and festivals in the United States. His firm has provided various forms of consulting services.
Since 1986, in addition to his consulting services, he has been teaching Graduate and Undergraduate course in traditional classes and online classes.
Until 2009, he worked for 20 years as a Marketing consultant and/or co-owner of several entertainment facilities. Among them were Six Flags Over Texas, the Wax Museum of the Southwest, Sea World of Texas, the State Fair of Texas, Ripley’s Believe it or not, and dozens of local fairs and festivals. Joe became known as the person to “go to” whenever a new attraction was going to be opened.
In 2006 he was asked to join an entertainment concept that would be opened in all of the new Mills Malls throughout the United States. He provided a feasibility study as part of his consulting responsibilities, and decided to leave to pursue an opportunity with an International company to take part in a new college startup in Vietnam, and continued to build that into a success.
Since 1993 till 2003 he worked on various positions in various start-up online programs with colleges around the world. He served as Dean for a short time and built on-line programs for 15 different colleges at different times.
He is a regular member of Students in Free Enterprise and has won the “Sam Walton Award” multiple times. He was awarded a prestigious award of “Student Favorite Faculty” a dozen times. The award was for outstanding work in the classroom.
He got his Master’s degree in Management from the University of Dallas. During the studies, he also earned a B.A in Management from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio. He also earned a DBA from the University of Sarasota in 2001.
During his career, he provided lectures about various topics in the renowned educational institutes in the fields of Management and Marketing. The most important among them are Small Business Management. Today Joe works as an Independent Contractor helping new start-up schools.
