Adjunct Professor of Finance Market and Investments
Oscar is a professor and researcher at different universities in Peru, in the fields of Corporate Finance, Banking and Private Investment Project Evaluation.
Until 2012 he served as Academic Director at the Postgraduate School of the Universidad del Pacifico in Lima-Peru, in this position he contributed to the academic quality to maintain the AACSB and AMBA accreditations, through the attraction and incorporation of professors with Doctorates. In addition, he participated in the launching of the program MBA, managing to surpass the point of balance in 27% in the first promotion.
Prior to 2012, he worked for 8 years as auditor and financial consultant in financial institutions and consulting companies with international representation. Also during this period, its recommendations for improvement in the key business processes and internal controls in companies of the commercial and real estate sector were implemented. He has excellent ability to establish relationships at the Board and Management level, service vocation and teamwork with excellent reputation and references in the business and academic sector.
He completed doctoral studies in Administration and Finance at the USIL International Business School from 2014 to 2016, with contributions to research in the field of micro- and small enterprises in Peru.
He received his MBA degree from the University of the Pacific in 2010, where he was awarded an academic award called “Recognition of high scholastic achievement” by Beta Gama Sigma Honor Society, and also he received a diploma for excellent academic performance in 2008.
As a tutor he will focus on developing and strengthening the skills of understanding, analyzing and evaluating theory in areas related to finance, so that students can contribute immediately and create value in their companies. To form integral and innovative leaders with global vision of the business, management of technology and in global environments in constant change.
